It was a very difficult decision, but Game to Grow will not be attending the in-person PAX West convention this year due to concerns about COVID. Many of our supporters are used to seeing us at PAX West every year, as we usually have a slew of panels, presentations, and a table at which we’re selling merch and speaking enthusiastically about therapeutic gaming. We’ve been attending PAX West consistently for over a decade, and presenting at every PAX West since 2015!
With a heavy heart we’ll sit out the in-person convention this year to prioritize the safety and health of our team, our volunteers, and the families that rely on us.
Does this mean we can’t still connect over the PAX West weekend? Of course we can! We will still have a few panels, all of which will be virtual, so you can still engage with and learn more about our mission. We’ll have some virtual meet-and-greets, and we even have a shop where you can still get yourself a cool Game to Grow t-shirt or hoodie.
