We’ll be presenting a plenary session at the 2018 International DIRFloortime Conference in Washington, DC, titled Critical Core: Role-Playing Games and the Future of Social-Skills Enrichment.
The conference will be Friday and Saturday, November 9 & 10, and attendees will be able to receive CEUs!
Adam Davis and Adam Johns will be co-presenting with Virginia Spielmann, who is contributing to the Critical Core project, and we’ll be discussing how we’re designing Critical Core and why role-playing games like Dungeons and Dragons are the perfect tool to help teens and adolescents build social skills, especially when the participants are struggling with challenges related to autism diagnoses.
For more information about the conference, please visit the ICDL website and the conference registration page.
