We’ve been working hard getting our new office set up. We’ve moved our main headquarters from South Seattle, which was the home of Wheelhouse Workshop, to Kirkland, the new home of Game to Grow. It is very important to us that we set up our new office with a focus on the long term. Our South Seattle office served us well while we were there, and we’ll always have love for the amazing community we were a part of at the INScape Arts & Culture building.
Our new office has its own lobby, a conference room, and individual offices for both Adam Johns and myself to see clients and run groups. We have an opportunity in this new office to add additional facilitators, expand the type of services we can provide on new days of the week, and to train facilitators to use games in their own practice for therapeutic, educational, or community development purposes.
We’re still getting our furniture set up and where it will be most effective for groups, and we just ordered, thanks to the generosity of our crowd funders, a white board to help us with trainings.
We’re looking forward to the new opportunities this new space will provide!
